I would even say that it is not only important to index the basic income at a fixed value, preferably correlated to a correlated value to the cost of living to correct the monetary losses, but if possible establish it as an inalienable right of every citizen not only as the amount required to cover the cost of living (defined democratically and directly by the citizens themselves) but apart from that the use of all income (social dividend) available to public property to cover this need. Considering the system that consists of a combination of pubic social dividend and income redistribution, the trend is that the definition reach a consensual balance between the possible and necessary.
